The Self-Esteem Module $40.00
Introduction to Self-Esteem Module
Positive self-esteem is the
primary issue in Self-Parenting. In a certain sense it may be the
only issue since building strong self-esteem benefits every area of
your life. Yet, positive self-esteem is something most people
don’t experience in their lives prior to
Self-Parenting.
By using the positive methods
of the SELF-PARENTING® Program, you can increase your
self-esteem many times over in less than three months. If you, as
the Inner Parent, consistently practice half-hour sessions using
this approach, you will create a sincere, honest sense of
self-esteem that will reward you way beyond your current
expectations.
Just Say “No” To
Affirmations
Contemporary self-esteem
theory seems to be stuck in the “affirmations” mode,
using a loosely defined set of mental or emotional constructs that
are supposed to build self-esteem. Affirmations, as currently
understood, are a hit or miss affair depending upon how carefully
they are constructed. A “good” affirmation will make
you feel positive or at least neutral. A “bad”
affirmation can make you feel negative indeed. The trouble is most
people don’t realize how to tell the difference between
“good” and “bad” affirmations.
For example, how would you
rate the following affirmations?
“I am rich, prosperous, and a
child of God.”
“You can be creative,
productive, and joyful.”
“We are one with
everything.”
“Life is fun and
exciting.”
“Every day, in every way, I am
getting better and better.”
“Men (Women) always want
what’s best for me.”
“I create my own
reality.”
By Self-Parenting standards,
each of these typically promoted affirmations could be
substantially improved. Only one, the second, is acceptable as is,
and even that becomes outdated once you start practicing the
Self-Esteem Module. This module is going to teach you a new
approach for building self-esteem that makes the concept of
affirmations obsolete.
We recommend ordering either
the Self-Esteem and/or the Early
Family & Childhood module first. (Practice time-one month
for each module)
