The Early Family & Childhood Module $40.00
Introduction to the Early Family Childhood Module
The Early Family and Childhood Module scans some generic aspects
of early family experience looking for areas of interest to your
Inner Child. These sessions prove to your Inner Child that you, as
the Inner Parent, are not afraid to listen and “be
there” for any emotions it might have. These sessions open
the door for sharing on any early family subject that your Inner
Child wants or needs to discuss. This module is appropriate for
Newcomer, Intermediate, or Advanced levels of Self-Parenting.
These questions in this module may bring up some amazing
memories of your past. If they do, that’s great. If they
don’t, that is fine as well. The purpose of these sessions is
not to dredge up every wrong thing that ever happened to you as a
child. Instead, their purpose is to prove to your Inner Child that
you, as the Inner Parent, are open and willing to listen in a
positive manner to any issue that might arise within your Inner
Conversations.
You practice daily half-hour sessions of positive Self-Parenting
in which you ask questions of your Inner Child.
After asking a question, you write down whatever your Inner
Child tells you.
You respond with, “Thank you, Inner Child, for telling me
that.”
How to Approach Early Family Issues
Your Inner Parent/Inner Child relationship is the most intimate
relationship possible. Whether you realize it or not, every
experience you’ve had growing up was shared equally with your
Inner Child. Some experiences had a bigger impact on your Inner
Child, while others had a bigger impact on your Inner Parent. Most
experiences, of course, were just experienced and then
forgotten.
you have shared all of your experiences together, you, as the
Inner Parent, have the right to ask your Inner Child about any
issue. However, you must present your interest as though a trusted
friend or a concerned family member, not a nagging Inner Parent.
The success of this module comes from the warm bond of intimacy
created by your Inner Child’s openness to share and your
Inner Parent’s willingness to listen.
Some of the topics covered in the Early Family Module are:
Parents, Marriage, Family, Finances, the Family Home Environment,
Pre-School days, and many others.
